Pole Patrol
Did you know that all the flyers and 800 number signs on telephone poles are illegal? Friends of the Fort will be working to remove the flyers and signs to improve these eye sores. Join the Pole Patrol and help rid the Fort of the illegal, outdated, and unsightly items. I am working on getting POLE PATROL t-shirts for everyone that participates in a certain number of Patrols. Details coming soon!

"Zero and 1 Club"
The "Zero and 1 Club" is a chance to make a difference with little effort. The Zero is a pledge not to litter and the One is a pledge to pick up one piece of litter a day. There are no meetings or dues to pay to join the club. It is a very simple concept but can make a difference.

Litter Free Events
During football weekend, the Fort is overtaken by fans and tailgators that leave their trash behind for residents to clean up. We will be working to place temporary trash bins for tailgators to place their trash in to help keep the Fort beautiful for the rest of us.

Adopt-a-Can Program
The premanent trash cans placed in the Fort, residents and guests can dispose of their trash properly instead of on the ground or in the bushes. Local businesses and organizations "adopt" a trash can to be placed in the Fort. They are then maintained by volunteers to help keep the area clean and litter free.
