SPECIAL THANKS

Our latest support has come from the East Tennessee Foundation. The Neighborhoods Small Grants Program is a community development program of the East Tennessee Foundation in partnership with the Center for Neighborhood Development as a technical assistance provider and the City of Knoxville's Community Development Department as a funding partner. We were awarded a grant to support our various cleanups.

The following is a list of businesses and groups that have helped make Friends of the Fort a reality!
If you helped out on April 6th, check for your name below on the volunteer list
Be sure to thank all of our supporters!

Keep Knoxville Beautiful
The Keep Knoxville Beautiful Website, which is full of ideas and programs on how to keep our city beautiful. They have helped out greatly in the planning of the clean up. They donated the gloves and bags. They also have helped start many of our other programs.
Jefferson Commons

SPEAK
SPEAK (Students Promoting Environmental Action in Knoxville) has been extremely wonderful in helping promote the clean up. They are a great organization trying to help make the UT campus a greener campus with recycling and education. Thank you Dr. Mike and Sarah S. for being so supportive and helping spread the word about the cleanup. SPEAK meets every Wednesday night in the UC.
UTFCU
UT Federal Credit Union has been extremely generous to donate funds to make the Friends of the Fort stickers. You can get yours at any of the upcoming cleanups.
